Carphone Warehouse flash event now on: iPhone 8, Galaxy S8 and Nokia deals included

As if the fact that the weekend is virtually upon us isn't enough, Carphone Warehouse just had to go and make it even better. Its flash event has landed just in time to add a spring in our step as we leave the office this Friday afternoon. That means reductions on some of its best mobile phone deals.

Apple's 2017 flagship iPhone 8 and X are both included, together with their successors the iPhone 7 and 6S. And there's money off the Samsung Galaxy S8 as well, in a last gasp effort to turn your head away from the shiny new Galaxy S9. The reduced SIM-free price of £629 is over £100 cheaper than the S9.

And if its an unlocked standalone handset that you're after (to team up with a cheap SIM only deal per chance?) then there are price drops of up to £160, with the likes of the Blackberry KEYone, Nokia 8 and Sony Xperia XA1 all subject to slashes.
